APPENDIX

Foreword

In the unfolding process of happily living a full and vital life, dreams can be realized, whatever the circumstances, whether it be in small town or state capital. The difference may be in having more opportunities to expand the horizons of others as well as those of oneself.

I grew up in a small town, where footsteps traveled constantly down bordered beaten paths, over the same few streets largely unnamed. It sometimes took a stretch of imagination for me to visualize that a larger world existed out there somewhere. Eventually I experienced an inner surge to break through barriers and boundary lines.

Then, as days expanded into years and more years grew in number, new doors were opened. My life process led to foreign shores and sharing with others. A wealth of treasured memories finally led to the desire to tell others, whatever their dream.

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken winged bird
That cannot fly.
